Rick Perry may have crossed a line in the latest salvo of his nation-wide, pro-Texas ad campaign. After an pro-Texas ad criticizing Missouri governor Jay Nixon’s tax policy aired in his state, Nixon threw a few punches of his own. Using the hashtag #betterthantx, Nixon took to Twitter with a list of ten reasons why Missouri is superior to Texas. Ranging from statistical to the sarcastic, Nixon included such tweets as:

But he couldn’t help adding

Now one can only wonder whether Governor Perry will endure this treatment of lying down or take to Twitter and defend Texas’s honor.
