The Corner

Momma Mia

I’m open to other nominees, but this strikes me as the stupidest question I’ve seen this election year:

Thought you may be interested in the results of a poll question asked to millions of young adults (18-24) through online and mobile prior to the VP debate as part of Shop The Vote (www.shopthevote.org), the first digital out-of-home public service campaign (launched last week) designed to reach these critical citizens before November 4 in the environments that matter to them most:  in retail stores, online and on their mobile phones.

Question: Would You Want Sarah Palin As Your Mom?

Results:

Yes (15%)

No (83%)

Who’s That? (2%)

Shop The Vote was created by the two leading groups focused on reaching young adults around these issues: 18 in ’08 (http://www.18in08.com)— a national youth run, nonpartisan organization designed to register, engage, and mobilize young voters who have their very first opportunity to vote in the November election and Access 360 Media (www.access360media.com) —the nation’s largest out-of-home media network reaching hundreds of millions of young adults in retail stores, online and on mobile devices.
