A new poll out shows Oregon senator Jeff Merkley’s lead over Monica Wehby has grown to 20 points, up from either 13-point (Rasmussen) or 8-point (Polling Company) lead before she ran her pro-gay-marriage ad.
I don’t know if her new support for gay marriage is the cause, but it certainly wasn’t the solution to her problems. Political consultants take note.
