Some people are sending me movies that were technically never good in the first place but enjoyable nonetheless. “They Live” is a movie I love, but I would never actually claim it was a good movie in any technical sense. Silverado, on the other hand, seemed like a really good Western at first, but now I think it’s very bad. Indeed, now that I think of it, many of the films directed by Larence Kasdan actually seemed like good movies at the time but were in fact not very good on closer examination.
