I’m in the Pepsi Center with a lousy connection, so I haven’t been able to watch it yet. From the partial transcript posted by Jim, it looks like the ad doesn’t directly say McCain is running an ad on Ayers–just very, very strongly implies it in an attempt to create that impression.
A friend e-mails, correctly pointing out:
It says, “Why is John McCain talking about the Sixties?” That is a pretty clear statement that McCain is making the allegation.
