More People Read the New York Times in Print Than Watch CNN in Prime Time

Imagine telling yourself in 2000, or even in 2010, that in 2025 more people would subscribe to the New York Times in print than watch CNN in prime time.

It’s true.

The New York Times Company reported today that it has 580,000 print subscribers.

In the second quarter of this year, CNN averaged 538,000 prime-time viewers.
