The irony with McAuliffe’s FOIA request is that one of the most recent federal court decisions upholding the White House exemption from document production under FOIA — which he now seeks — was a lawsuit brought by Juanita Broaddrick against Bill Clinton in Broaddrick v. Exec. Office of the President, 139 F. Supp. 2d 55, 58 (D.D.C., 2001).
