A couple of things that jump out from that new USA Today/Suffolk poll, which, overall, is good news for Trump and for the outsiders:
‐Ben Carson is far and away the most popular second choice of Republicans at 21 percent. If you add his first- and second-choice numbers, he’s at 34 percent, higher than Trump who is at 29 when you add up his two numbers.
‐Trump’s favorable/unfavorable rating with the general public is badly upside down, at 27 percent favorable and 60 percent unfavorable.
‐The words people most associate with Carly Fiorina are smart, intelligent, knowledgeable.
