Mormon problem or no Mormon problem — and I think Michael Cromartie has had some smart things to say on this issue; see here and here – I’ll guarantee you his record will be looked at and often and maybe more than others — in part because the whole idea of a conservative from Massaschusetts is such an unnatural creature. (Or so says a conservative who grew up a casual walk away from the Stonewall Inn.) And in part because a guy who has clearly evolved on some key issues should be scrutinized.
