The Morning After

I’m noticing a lot of sarcasm in the world this morning. Some of it is sleep deprivation. Some of it is bitterness. Some of it is sadness. Some of it is emotions I’m probably missing. Maybe this will help: The work begins now. Elections come and go, but legacies and the substance of American history are made in the governing. And I think everyone has someone in the fight in Washington come January . . .
