‘Morning in America’

Am on Bill Bennett’s radio show. We’re in a commercial break. Bill mentioned Miranda Lambert (country star) and I didn’t know who she was. Took a little ribbing for this. He said, “Oh, you don’t know country, of course.” I countered with, “I like country, a lot — Hannah Montana, for instance. Thanks to my young niece, I can recite significant portions of ‘Hoedown Throwdown.’”

Just so you know. (We are talking about more than Hannah, of course — a nuclearizing Iran, Copenhagen, Ft. Hood. But Bill contains multitudes.)
