Morning Joe regular Mike Barnicle is accusing the Obama administration of lying about the persistent problems plaguing Obamacare’s online exchanges.
“They’re lying about it now,” he said Monday. “They’re not depriving us of information — they are outright lying about what’s going on.”
Barnicle charged that the administration is not telling the truth about the total number of Americans who have enrolled in the exchanges. (Administration officials say more than 476,000 people have filed applications through the federal and state exchanges.)
“They’ve had two years to pull this together in a country where you could go to San Jose, California, or Cupertino, California, and find five people to put together a website that works in about six seconds,” Barnicle said.
