Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski called concerns about universal background checks for weapons purchases “a bit archaic” because of the changes in technology that already store information. “Think about how ridiculous that is,” Brzezinski said this morning, citing the fact that website such as Google and Facebook already have many people’s personal information.

“Is it fair to question that some of these contentions and concerns are a bit archaic in the world of drones and technology that tracks every move we make, that this government is going to take your guns, or they’re going to come invade us like Waco?”
