Morning Mail

I have a personal homeland security dachshund who would not stop barking at 3:30 AM, until I turned on the TV for me to view another conspiratorial effort by Bush to thwart any political gains by his opponents (i.e., Tuesday’s primary in Connecticut). I am sure similar devious plots will be forthcoming as needed in order to secure the November elections for the “right” party.

Nevertheless, though after 6 years (beginning with an illegal presidential election) I should be accustomed to the antics of the artful George, I am still astonished at the length to which he will go to secure, not our USA, but his own political prowess. And it is even more dumbfounding that he is able to draw the British PM into the conspiracy. To think that these two power moguls are able to so effectively besmirch terrorists. George and Tony have managed terror of their own in their subtle plans going on for months to release the scare of, imagine, “liquid” bombs to blow up flights mid-air between the UK and the US. They are even invoking the Al Qaeda connection as revenge for Afghanistan and Iraq. Tony is conveniently vacationing in the Caribbean.

If Bush is willing to stoop to this level to summon support in response to a Lieberman (tagged as a war and Bush supporter) loss, what is he likely to do as November ‘06, ‘08, approach. Can we expect the nefarious conspirators to unveil UBL’s capture?

Lest these thoughts are dismissed as coming from a malcontent, let me stress that they are merely TIC (tongue in cheek).
