Mosaic

Today marks the launch of Mosaic, a new online magazine of Jewish ideas that ought to interest many NRO readers—Jewish or otherwise.

Along with a daily roundup of writings of interest from around the web and a variety of ongoing features, Mosaic will publish a long-form monthly essay on a significant cultural, religious, social, or philosophical question, along with assorted responses to it throughout the month.

The first such essay is a reflection on the Ten Commandments by Leon Kass, in the spirit of his extraordinary book on the meaning of Genesis. Well worth your while.
