Okay, here’s another question: If Obamacare goes down on the House floor, it will be a catastrophic loss for Obama. What has been a comparable loss for a president? Hillarycare’s failure was a big deal for Clinton, but it didn’t have this kind of drama and brinkmanship, since it never came up for a vote. The defeat of the rule on the crime bill in 1994 was a stunner, but the stakes weren’t anywhere near as large and the bill eventually passed. Let me know what you think.
