Moving on to Kavanuagh….and Generic talking points

Leahy, I gather just spoke for 36 minutes. Senate source who has to listen to it all tells me: “The speech was supposed to be about the Kavanaugh nomination, but it wandered off into FEMA and other general Bush-bashing topics. He then wrapped up by saying that he would put his “full statement” in the record. And it’s a good thing he didn’t use the whole statement: there are only 30 hours available in post-cloture debate.”
