Moving to Canada

Most progressives who said they would move to Canada if Trump won in 2016 didn’t actually do it. But Hillary Clinton was a keynote speaker at the Liberal Party of Canada’s national policy convention on Friday.

A Canadian Press article on the event said, “The Liberals’ inclusion of Clinton on the program came in part as a way to draw more people to the convention, and give them a sense they got their money’s worth.” We all know Canada isn’t quite as good as the U.S., but I didn’t realize things were so bad up there that seeing Hillary Clinton speak is considered a good deal.

She probably thinks she is supposed to be in her second term as president of the United States right now, but instead she’s speaking at Canadian political conventions. Not a bad outcome for us, and if the Canadians like her, they can keep her.
