MSNBC Guest: GOP ‘A White-Nationalist, Afrikaner, Boer Party’

“They have essentially gone in as a white-nationalist, Afrikaner, Boer party,” an MSNBC commentator said Friday about the Republican party. “That’s sort of where they are at this point.”

Tim Wise, a self-described anti-racism writer and expert, argued that the party’s support for stop-question-and-frisk policies and the comparisons drawn by Republican lawmakers between the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Christopher Lane demonstrate a belief that “awful, horrible, animalistic black people are going to get you.”
