Thanks Kate; can’t wait to read your book. Your performance on MTP was particularly good in contrast to that of Sen. Cornyn, who let Sen. Schumer get away with murder. When Schumer claimed that Alito had said “that the federal government can’t regulate machine guns,” Russert did more than Cornyn to correct that outrageous distortion of Alito’s Rybar dissent. Cornyn is one of the best Senate Republicans on judicial questions, but he was off his game today. I hope the rest of the week will go better.
