I did think this was a wee bit of an overstatement: “Religious conservatives know Mitt’s their man.”
Based on the e-mail I get, learning, warming…but miles to go yet. He’s obviously doing well at what he needs to do at this still very far out (March 2006!–what loooong presidential races these are)–get himself better known. Whereas a year ago when I mentioned his name in right-wing circles I got eyerolls or “huh?”s, I increasingly hear “yeah, he seems impressive.”
And I think he’s starting to rival Rich for Fox News Channel appearances.
