Cute. For the record, all of the recent hold-ups, subtitle changes, etc, have to do with stuff internal to Random House and have nothing to do with anything inside the book. The publication date is a firm Jan. 8. Blurbs have been gotten (including some great ones), galleys are out to many reviewers etc. etc. The hacking of the Amazon site is a good sign that I will have plenty of enemies when the book comes out, regardless of what it says. But if the book’s friends — chiefly folks who’ve read it with an open mind — do their part I’ll be happy.
