Eric Cohen and William Kristol have a terrific editorial on Frist. (I had no idea they were such parochial Catholics.) And while John Podhoretz seems to mostly be refuting positions that nobody here has actually taken, many of his points are correct: It is certainly true that support for embryonic stem-cell research will not play the same way support for abortion rights does in a Republican primary, and it would not do anybody any good to pretend otherwise.
