A couple of weeks ago Alain Robert and another guy climbed the New York Times building, which apparently requires the same technical skills as climbing a ladder. I think the New York Times and the city should set aside one day a year when people can climb the Times building–with appropriate legal waivers and safety precautions, of course. It would sort of be like that bridge in West Virginia that they let people BASE jump off of once a year. It would be a great spectacle worthy of New York City.
