The Abqaiq oil facility is a worthy target for an al Qaeda strike as a successful attack would rattle the House of Saud and shake already jittery oil markets. But today’s feeble attempt shows that al Qaeda, while still dangerous, couldn’t muster the wherewithal to pull off a major attack despite repeated threats against Saudi oil.
