My Sisyphean Day

J-Pod, you’ve got it all wrong. The real danger at the Mansion will be neck strain. We have given a former Playmate a speaking role, and I will have to give her performance notes personally without hurting myself. Then there’s no Hummer, of course, but a Maserati. And my wife is the one going to Vegas this weekend (on “business” I’m told) and if there were any poker to be played, I would certainly be more likely to win a million than lose it. (I play a bit. Does a straight beat a flush?) Meanwhile, frequent emailer Lt. Eric wished me “a lovely day, spent enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.” My wife said something dissimilar.
