Yesterday, I had a post on earthquakes in Turkey, Iran, and Haiti. The third of those countries was happy to accept the help of Israeli rescuers. The first two have certain hesitations, let’s say.
The Israelis, unfortunately, are expert at pulling bodies from rubble and whatnot. They’ve had a lot of practice, given the terrorist bombings against them.
I thought I should alert readers to reports such as this, in case they haven’t seen them: “With thousands of quake survivors facing a third night out in the open in near-freezing temperatures, Turkey set aside its national pride and said it would accept international aid offers, even from Israel . . .”
