Close enough though! “If it bothers you that the China government does it”–denies people access to parts of the Internet, that is–”it should bother you when your cable company does it.” AT&T’s chief lobbyist Jim Cicconi (for whom I worked briefly in the last century, though I doubt he remembers it) responded by saying that the repression of a communist government is not equivalent “to the network congestion decisions of an American ISP.”
