Many students of British politics will be aware of the influential website ConservativeHome, edited by Tim Montgomerie, a good friend of NRO. I am delighted to say that the ever-entrepreneurial Mr. Montgomerie has added a new string to his bow: ConservativeHome USA, which seeks to update visitors daily on the state of the American conservative movement.
Edited in America by Americans, ConHomeUSA will nevertheless feature the occasional view from across the pond, such as today’s essay on fiscal conservatism and the need for budget reduction by George Osborne, the British Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Tim’s latest venture looks to be a substantive addition to the ranks of American conservative websites, and I wish him well. After all, the fact that he has included me and John O’Sullivan in his panel of expert observers of the U.S. political system certainly speaks well of his judgment.
