The NYT editorial board has entered the blogosphere. So far, the virtue of the Times’s anonymous group blog is in the way that it brings the kind of tendentious and insipid commentary we all know and ignore from the editorial page to the blogging medium. Joseph Epstein had a wonderful line about all of this years ago in one of his essays: “In my conception of hell, the only books to read are bound volumes of New York Times editorials.”
