The New York Times on the Mandate

The Times asks whether employers should be allowed out of covering birth control based on “religious or moral objections.” Result: 51 percent yes, 40 percent no (question 73). Presumably if abortion drugs were mentioned the numbers would have been even better; also if the fact that they are currently allowed to opt out were mentioned.
