New York’s Insane Plan to Fund Abortion Tourism

New York attorney general Tish James, sounding like a legislator, is pitching a $50 million fund now being discussed in the New York State Assembly after it was introduced by member Jessica González-Rojas of Queens that would, in a post-Roe country, not only pay for abortions, but would pay travel costs for women from out of state who would like to come to New York to get abortions. Just how much do New Yorkers love aborting fetuses? Enough to pay for people to come into the state to do that? New York just passed its annual budget a couple of weeks ago, and if James is to be believed, New York’s radical pro-abortion fanatics can’t even wait till the next annual budgeting session to discuss this.

Albany is scheduled to wrap up business for the year on June 2. May the clock run out before the Democratic supermajority follows through on this demented idea, which already has four co-sponsors in the assembly.
