At a dinner in Phoenix recently, one of the guests couldn’t decide whether the state’s biggest newspaper should be called the “Arizona Repugnant” or the “Arizona Repulsive” This got me thinking about newspaper nicknames, which seem to be a predominantly conservative phenomenon, given the natural bias of the MSM. I found only one article about this; at the risk of creating more work for myself, if readers have pet nicknames for their papers, I’ll be happy to post some of the better (and cleaner) ones.
