No Greater Sacrifice

Recently, a wonderful organization called No Greater Sacrifice, which provides college scholarships to the children of our fallen and wounded warriors, held its Freedom Award Dinner in Washington. In the two years since its founding, NGS has already raised just over $750,000 and has provided full academic scholarships to over 15 children. They have also distributed over $100,000 to sister charities, including the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Fund.

At the dinner, NGS founder Kirk Rostron made this commitment to the families of our troops in harm’s way: “The child of every permanently wounded soldier, sailor, airman or Marine will have the resources they need to get a college education.”

If you would like to help NGS back up this pledge, please check out their website, where you can see a video with highlights from the dinner and learn more about how you can become involved.

NGS is one of the best causes I know — worthy of all our support.
