It’s a trope on the Left to say Omar’s “some people did something” remark is being taken out of context. But this is nonsense. There’s nothing about the rest of her remarks that changes anything. Her whole point was to minimize 9/11 in the course of magnifying the alleged harms done to Muslims in the aftermath. Here is the context (via a Democratic Twitter account):
