Nobel Prizes

Mike: I’m glad to see Liu Xiaobo get some recognition, and it’ll be fun to watch the ChiComs throw the inevitable hissy fit. It’s just sad that the Peace Prize has been so devalued by having been given to so many crassly unsuitable recipients. No names, no pack drill.

Vargas Llosa’s not a bad pick for the literature prize, though he lost me as a reader somewhere in the 1990s.
