The rumors seem to be heading towards a conclusion: Obama’s interventions appear to have failed and all that will emerge from Hopenhagen is a “legally non-binding” agreement. In other words, an agreement that reducing emissions would be nice — for some — but that’s it. There were rumors of an Obama press conference but David Corn of Mother Jones has just Tweeted that he’s been told officially, “No Obama presser ‘whatsoever.’” The president must be beginning to hate that city . . .
