Not ‘Goodbye, Lee’

. . . but “À la prochaine”: He’s too good not to resurface soon somewhere or other. Like Jonah and Andy, I always enjoyed my appearances on the Lee Rodgers show. He has a very laid-back dry wit, which may be what it takes to keep you sane in San Francisco.

I was in radio long enough to have been in Lee’s situation from time to time — where you discover two minutes after getting off air that you’ve just done your final show without knowing it. I’ve no idea if his stated reason for his firing is correct, but, whether or not some Islamo-leftist backstage coup took him out, Citadel Broadcasting seems to be a very mismanaged company right now.
