Not That Into Her

Shrill, charmless, and brittle — her biggest liabilities which she had, until now, kept mostly under wraps. Tonight should demonstrate to her future Republican rival (yes, I believe she’ll get the nom) that Hillary’s fundamentally unlikeable core is very near the surface. Scratch a little and it comes roaring out. As the wise man says, “The best defense is a good offense.” Push her buttons, get under skin, peel back the facade. Any more mixed metaphors I can throw out? Nails on a blackboard!

When I worked in the former Senate Leader’s office as a speechwriter, I would always have to hit the mute button on my little desk TV when she went to the floor. You can’t take the sound for more than two minutes — if that.
