Please forgive my fellow reader’s suggestion of “Up From Liberalism” as the accessory for the Buckley action figure. While certainly a fine read, there is only ONE book for this role:
GOD AND MAN AT YALE, the book that started it all.
Although a poor student with no job and credit card reaching its limit, I would certainly find a way to buy each action figure, especially the Derb and Dunphy, but I’d need to get some sort of evil Maureen Dowd or Paul Krugman figure for them to pistol-whip. Worth every penny. And of course WFB and Jonah would beat them with book and Scotch bottle.
