Not Shakespeare’s Wife, Some Other Chick

Hollywood liberals are just about the most insufferable people on earth — so it was with some trepidation that I turned to an article about a particular Hollywood liberal, attending the convention here in Denver. She is the actress Anne Hathaway. (Hey, where’d she get that name?) And, from her published remarks — she is absolutely charming. And unsneering — even patriotic. Here is that article. My favorite bit? Anne talks about a public perception of Hollywood types: “How could we possibly have an awareness of what real Americans feel and think and need because we just ride around in limos and — I don’t know — buy diamonds all day long?”

So help me, I like her.
