this issue of communication between law enforcement, etc. on 9/11 is an OLD hobbyhorse of his, dating to his time as Chairman of the Commerce Committee. That problem is not a Rudy problem…the problem was caused by the availability of federal spectrum. Given he follows this criticism with similar challenges to the federal government’s incompetence on both Katrina and Walter Reed, as well as his past history on the issue, I don’t think it is entirely fair to read this as a slam at Rudy.
