Now Is the Time to Really Get to Know Pope Francis

Much of the coverage of Pope Francis was too politicized or simplistic, missing the spiritual challenge and pastoral care he offered the world.

This is some of the tenor of a discussion I have with Grazie Christie about the life and papacy of Pope Francis, who died Easter Monday morning at the Vatican.

Christie is a radiologist in Miami who writes and speaks frequently on Catholic matters. (She also lives and volunteers Catholicism — including as a wife and mother, teacher, and pregnancy-clinic worker.)
