Having considered the recommendations of Joe Biden’s task force, the president today will unveil his proposals for expanding the nation’s gun laws, and he will do so flanked by children whom the laws will purportedly protect. The NRA is not waiting to hear what he has to say, though, before striking back. They’ve released an ad accusing the president of hypocrisy for sending his children to school under the protection of armed guards while opposing similar security measures for children in schools across the country.
“Are the president’s kids more important than yours?” the ad asks, and goes on to call him an “elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security.” You can watch the whole thing below.
