NRI Coming to California

National Review founder William F. Buckley Jr.

We continue to commemorate the Buckley Legacy, bringing the gang of exceptional writers to the Golden State to discuss WFB’s profound consequence, and critical issues such as immigration and free speech. It’s all part of NRI’s coast-to-coast Celebration of the Life and Legacy of the Founder of the Conservative Movement. We’ve scheduled two California events.

The second: On Wednesday, March 28, we’ll be in Newport Beach at the Fashion Island Hotel. Registration begins at 1:30 PM, the program runs from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and a swell cocktail reception follows. Who’s the “we”? On hand will be Rich Lowry, Andy McCarthy, Charles Kesler, Kathryn Jean Lopez, and John Yoo. To sign up, and to become a sponsor, go here.

Working backwards to the first: The day before (Tuesday, March 27) that same merry band — also joined by Victor Davis Hanson — will be in San Francisco, where the festivities will take place at the City Club (155 Sanson Street). Registration begins at 10:00 AM, the program runs from 10:30 AM to Noon, and a cocktail reception precedes a luncheon, at which VDH will share some wisdom. Please join us, and do consider sponsoring: You can get complete information here.
