The head of the National Security Agency, Keith Alexander, said on Sunday that China’s theft of intellectual property from the United States amounts to “the most significant tranfer of wealth in history.”

Alexander did not refute the claim, made by House Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Rogers, that the U.S. is losing the cyber war to China.

The NSA chief said that getting to the bottom of the issue is one of the agency’s goals. ”Who’s taking our information is one of the things the American people would expect me to know. That’s one of our missions: who’s doing this to us and why,” he said.
