A Ny Republican Writes…

….”I am so discouraged. I ran for the NYS Assembly in 1998…While I never had a realistic shot, at least the party put up a real fight. Now…statewide, it is just dismal. I don’t understand it, while W is moving heaven and earth to make the Republicans a permanent majority party, we here in NYS have abandoned ship. I like Pataki personally but I place a good deal of blame on him. There’s no farm team. Nothing. We need fresh blood – but unfortunately the only blood that I see has been our own. We won’t see better days for a long time.”
