Obama Campaign Loses Reach

This new circulation audit did not help the New York Times stock price today — NYT is down nearly 3 percent on a 3.9 percent circulation drop, accompanied by a more shocking 9-point drop on Sundays. Everyone in the top 20 is hurting, though, except for the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. The biggest losers in weekly circulation were the Dallas Morning News (down 10.6 percent), the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (down 8.5 percent) and the Boston Globe (down 8.6 percent).
