Obama to Make Executive Action Announcement Thursday Night

The formal announcement of President Obama’s executive action on immigration will come Friday, but he’ll lay out the plans and make the case for them in a televised speech at 8 p.m. tomorrow night. He explained that in a video posted on the White House website today:

The president’s announcement already has about 7,000 likes on Facebook, which, for context, is less than a hundredth of the number of illegal immigrants as he wants to effectively legalize but is a lot more than the number of members of Congress who have voted for the plan.
