Kathleen Sebelius doesn’t have to worry about her position as Health and Human Service secretary amid the dysfunctional rollout of the Obamacare online exchanges, according to Jay Carney. Two weeks since they launched, the online exchanges have received complaints across the country for their sluggishness and glitches.

“The secretary does have the full confidence of the president,” Carney told reporters on Tuesday afternoon. He said the administration is work 24/7 to address the various problems “to make sure that Americans across the country have the best possible consumer experience” with the websites.

Yesterday, Robert Gibbs, Carney’s predecessor, said that the administration should fire “some people” tasked with preparing the websites. Senator Pat Roberts (R., Kan.) has called on Sebelius to resign because of the website problems.
